Flickr.com is easily the best website for embedding pics onto CFC. But some of it can be a bit tricky if you don't know how. So I'll quickly run through a few problems and solutions on how to embed from Flickr.

HOW: It's very simple. Once you find the picture in Flickr that you would like to upload, you simply right click the picture and hit "Properties" and find the URL code that will look similar to this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3278/2608396984_0bc2b7f3f2_m.jpg. you copy it and come to your CFC post and hit "Insert Image" and simply copy the code in there and hit the green "Insert Image" button and if all is done correctly, your picture will show up. that's it. here's the pic that belongs to this code.

COMMON PROBLEMS: "I put the link in the box and it told me that it was an invalid code!" it's an easy fix.... probably. sometimes a code like this:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/67/16680655_d403382f35.jpg

will have something like this after it: "v=?0" so in the end it will look like this:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/67/166806655_d403382f35.jpg?v=0 .

the problem is the "?v=0". just simply remove this when you paste it and the link will embed. Keep in mind that the link must end in either ".jpg", ".bmp" or ".gif" or it will be invalid.

Also, any codes that look anything like this: http://l.yimg.com/g/images/spaceball.gif cannot be posted. that URL is specially made for that picture so you cannot embed it on other sites. The photographer is just being stingy, pretty much. That's the best way to embed pics on CFC from Flickr. is there anything I'm missing?

Another thing you can do is simply right click the image and click COPY and then come to your post and right click the empty text field and hit PASTE.

*WARNING*
It is highly recommended that you  DO NOT put pics into your thread this way. Reason being is because there is a campaign of people somewhere who code these pictures so when you post them they look fine, but then a few minutes later it will switch the picture for pornographic image. It's in an effort to stop making people use so much bit rate by copy/pasting things. and in the case of CFC. It works. So while that is a way to do it. Don't do it that way. This is considered your warning. If you do that and it gets caught by an admin , we will follow the CFC ToU on posting pornographic images that states:

"Anyone who posts graphic, lude, pornographic or any socially unacceptable pictures on any threads or as an avatar will removed without notice."
