I had interest as to how to run your plane on Lipos. I made the following diagram to help. If you have questions, let me know.

Please note, a switch is only needed if you cannot easily unplug the battery from the BEC, i.e. a bolt on wing on a low wing aircraft.

Here is the layout I use in one of my glow planes. See pics. Note that I use mini-JXT connectors to connect everything I can. I believe they are good to 12A.
